Folded leather cover with 32 leaves. This autograph album contains poems and greetings written to Ernestine McMillan by her classmates between 1930 and 1933 while in elementary school. She would have been between 10 and 12 years of age when this autograph album was in use. The pages of the book are blue, pink, and white and are written on both sides.

Hand sewn patchwork quilt made by Lucinda MacMillan in the 1920's. The quilt was made by piecing many small triangles of cotton fabric together. It is backed with a cotton floral print fabric in blue and white. The batting is natural cotton and the quilt is tied with knotted yellow wool yarn. The quilt is dated to circa 1920 by provenance and by independent examination of the fabrics. The backing fabric is especially telling. It is a floral print of white, sky blue, and dark blue.
